Following the success of the two Community Improvement Funds sponsored by Servicenow, PwC Ireland launches its own Resilient Communities Fund.

The PwC Ireland Resilient Communities Fund is designed to empower individuals and teams across Ireland to spearhead local community projects that promote inclusion, equitable access to opportunities, skills development, and sustainability. The ideas to apply for are Small Pocket Forest, WeCount Project, and us, Solar Education .
Last year, 11 schools from Germany and Ireland, and organisations such as Teachers for Future successfully applied and received our learning materials free of charge. The feedback from teachers and students so far has been fantastic. We were particularly impressed by the use of our Solar Kit to power an e-piano. We are very pleased to receive further reports about the use in class of our Science Kit, the Solar Kit and our lessons around renewables for all subjects from STEM to ethics and sports.

Our educational package for the PwC fund is designed for high schools and secondary schools and includes a Science Kit for physics lessons, a Solar Kit, a full-sized PV-system for self-assembly as well as learning content for lessons and EUR 1,900 in cash for support for sustainable projects. For example, if the school does not yet have a PV system, a detailed feasibility study would be possible, or you could purchase our Explorer Kit for your school or to doante to neighboring primary school. The whole package is valued around 10,000 EUR.
The solar education materials for students and teachers link the topics of energy transition and photovoltaics ("PV") on an emotional level. Through interactive learning methods with forward-looking and emotional concepts in various subjects - from physics to math and geography to ethics - we motivate young people to actively contribute to our society through positive participation.
