What would be possible with more resources?
Your donation for solar education
Since 2021, we've been bringing hands-on solar energy into schools. We accomplish all this with a single full-time employee. The rest is pure conviction: two founders who dedicate every spare hour to this project; student interns who write lesson plans, produce videos, and test experiments; volunteers from industry and schools who contribute their expertise; and a scientific advisory board led by astrophysicist Prof. Dr. Harald Lesch, who provides us with expert guidance.
This is financed independently, through the sale of our teaching materials and through donations. We are proud that this has resulted in four teaching resources, 17 lesson plans, a UNESCO award, and enthusiastic feedback from around 300 schools. And it raises a question we would like to answer together with you: What would be possible with more funding?
This is what your donation will achieve
Every euro goes towards new teaching units, teaching materials for schools that cannot afford them, and support for young people who are setting up their own photovoltaic systems. For example:
For €50 a teacher receives a complete teaching unit including worksheets and video instructions, which they can reuse year after year.
For €540, a kindergarten or primary school group can discover how electricity is generated from sunlight using the Solar Research Set.
For €3,500, an entire school class can build a real, full-size solar power system using the educational PV system, and the school will keep it for future school years.
Even small amounts help. And those who donate regularly give us what a small organization needs most: predictability.
