Solar for Schools Bildung gGmbH aims to teach children and young people about the importance of solar energy through innovative and practical learning materials.

 

With your donation, we enable the development and dissemination of educational offerings that inspire and sensitize young people to renewable energies and climate protection.

 

Our holistic approach includes the development of age-appropriate teaching materials for all

Types of schools and subjects – from kindergarten to high school. With materials such as

Solar research sets, experiment kits and real-size solar systems enable students to discover for themselves how renewable energies work and

different perspectives - whether STEM, economics or ethics. In addition, we support teachers with interdisciplinary teaching concepts that make solar energy clear and tangible. In this way, we promote a deep understanding of renewable energies and convey important connections to the climate crisis and sustainable solutions.

 

Every year, around 200 students per school experience how important and valuable solar energy is and how they can contribute to the energy transition. They become ambassadors for sustainable change and influence on average over 700 people. We strengthen their

Self-efficacy, promote creative problem solving and inspire civic commitment to actively shaping the future.

 

More than 120 schools in Germany, UK, Ireland and Czech Republic use the Solar Education learning materials. Your support is crucial to ensure that many more are involved.
