The students learn essential basic facts and discuss fossil and renewable energies. The kWh (kilowatt-hour) is defined and illustrated with everyday analogies. The students bring electronic devices from home, which are then categorized according to their electricity consumption. Using written multiplication, they calculate how many PV modules are needed to power the devices they brought.
